Your battery rebate
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program pays through certificates (STCs). The full rate applies to the first 14kWh, 60% to 14–28kWh and 15% to 28–50kWh.
Estimate based on nominal capacity. The exact number depends on the battery's usable capacity on the approved product list and your install date. Your installer applies the rebate and shows it on your quote.
Why book now
The rebate is based on the date your battery is installed. On 1 January its factor drops from 6.8 to 5.7, about 16% less. Installers get busy in December, so book early.
